I’m Lukas Haertel — a coffee sourcing and quality consultant based in London with almost a decade in the specialty coffee industry.
I work with roasteries, cafés, importers and producers to strengthen systems around sourcing, QC, and product development. My background spans green coffee buying, quality management, operation, and product leadership — including the development and launch of branded products such as capsules, RTDs, and non-drink retail formats.
I see myself as a translator between coffee, business, and brand — helping teams connect sensory and sourcing decisions with commercial and creative outcomes. By optimising processes and clarifying priorities, I help businesses get ready for growth with confidence and consistency.
